Increase in production cost with less proportionate increase in sugar prices are present day challenges in operating sugar industries. Innovative process modifications, mechanization / automation from cane harvesting to sugar bagging and beyond are being improved to reduce the manufacturing cost. Minimizing down time is being focused on day to day basis. Effective implementation of vibration analysis has helped operating the plant for nearly ten (10) months is a year.
Vibration monitoring of equipments before the annual stoppage of rotating equipments like Cane Fibrizer / Shredder Batch / Continuous Centrifuge and effective implementation of maintenance activity based on our recommendations have helped industry to plan their spares, manpower, tools, inventories & in scheduling of maintenance activities.
Through effective Vibration analysis and In Site Balancing carried out on call basis, regular monitoring (AMC) especially in Power Turbines, Cane Fibrizer / Cane Shredder, Batch / Continuous Centrifuge, Bagasse Blowers, ID, FD, SA Fans, etc., outages have reduced by more than 40%. We also carry out Two-Plane In-Site Dynamic balancing on above listed equipments thereby increasing the life of the bearings by more than 60% to 70%.
Vibration monitoring and In Situ Dynamic balancing (if required) carried out on Cane Fibrizer / Cane Shredder during replacement of worn out tips and hammers have reduced unprecedented failures.
Successful monitoring requires in-depth knowledge of equipments and our team of Specialists have the requisite experience and shall be able to provide tailor made services to your Plant to help increase and optimize the asset performance.
